Sourceforge archives the current CVS repository each day and makes it available for download. A copy of this tarball is available here.
The CVS version is packaged up each day into preview versions of the various branches, which are available for download here along with a diff file giving the differences since the last release in that branch and a log file giving the output of the nicify script which created the preview distribution.
Note that preview distributions will not be built for branches that have had no development on them since the last release (more specifically, if the version number for a branch in CVS matches the latest release, a preview version will not be built).
Warning: The format of bones and save files created by preview versions of Slash'EM may not be compatible with each other, or with the final released version even though the version number does not change. If you use these versions, you are responsible for deciding when these files have become incompatible and deleting them.
It is generally safe to assume that a preview version which has the same edit level as the latest release (ie., the same version number upto and including the number following the E) will be compatible, but we make no guarantees of this.
Finally, we occasionally make debug distributions available here. These can be recognized by having a D in their version number. We do not recommend you try these unless you are planning to help debug Slash'EM (depending on the type of debug output used, it could interfere with your game).
